Our benchmarking is completed in September of each year to determine the year-on-year rate fluctuations by skillset/job type. Overall, across the Defence & Security sector, increases have slowed significantly from 2 years ago, but this isn’t the whole story:

  • 7 contractor job roles have seen a decrease on rates
  • 4 contractor job roles have seen a +10% increase on rates

All fuelled by the supply and demand changes in the market. It’s even more important than ever to understand the contractor rate landscape to ensure increases are supported and challenges appropriately.
